NEXT GEN - BEADS BY ABS

Abigail is a proud young Cabrogal girl from the Dharug Nation and the creative behind Beads by Abs.

Through Beads by Abs, Abigail creates colourful handmade jewellery that celebrates culture, creativity and identity. Her collection includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces and other beaded accessories, with every piece handmade with care.

For Abigail, creating jewellery is also a way to express pride in who she is and share culture through something others can wear and enjoy.

Abigail joined the GATHAA Next Gen Market & Youth Showcase to share her handmade creations, connect with community and gain experience running her own market stall.

For her, being part of Next Gen is also an opportunity to encourage other young First Nations people to be proud of who they are and confident in their creativity.

Through Beads by Abs, Abigail is taking her creativity into business and building her experience as one of GATHAA’s emerging young First Nations entrepreneurs. 👣
