GATHAA Markets are no longer held at a single fixed location — we now go walkabout!
Markets take place across Gubbi Gubbi and Jinibara Country on the second weekend of every month, either on Saturday or Sunday, depending on the venue.
You’ll find us popping up at a range of beautiful and culturally significant locations around the Sunshine Coast, Queensland — from native nurseries and community centres to visitor precincts and cultural hubs.
No, entry to GATHAA First Nations Market is completely free

Yes! GATHAA Markets are held monthly, on the second weekend of each month.
We follow a walkabout model, travelling across different locations on Gubbi Gubbi and Jinibara Country throughout the Sunshine Coast region. Some months we pop up on a Saturday, others on a Sunday, depending on the venue.
Each market offers something unique — but you can always expect a vibrant gathering of First Nations stallholders, bushfood tastings, workshops, live entertainment and cultural connection.
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at the event. We kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home.
Parking is available on Mons Road, we have GATHAA parking lot located at the top of Mons Road directly next to Sunshine Coast Grammar. You'll also find plenty of parking near the IGA. It's just a short stoll from there to the event venue.
Twilight Markets hours - 3pm-7pm
Morning Markets - 9am-1pm
