Helen Rose is a proud Jinibara, Bigambul, Kuku Yalanji, Ewaniam and Cobble Cobble woman whose work is grounded in cultural knowledge, family values and a lifelong commitment to natural healing. Based in Brisbane and inspired by her role as a mother, daughter and custodian of traditional practices, Helen blends the wisdom of her ancestors with a modern approach to wellbeing.
Her journey into traditional bush medicine deepened when her father’s health began to decline and conventional treatments were no longer enough. Turning back to the teachings of her Elders, Helen rediscovered the healing power of native plants such as Gumby Gumby. The remarkable improvement in her father’s wellbeing became the spark that ignited a vision: to share these natural remedies more widely and support others on their own wellness journeys.
Through her partnership with Oz Blue Terpenes, Helen Rose now creates products that celebrate cultural integrity and the natural benefits of terpenes and native bush botanicals. Every formulation reflects her commitment to holistic healing, family, and the preservation of Indigenous knowledge. Her work is more than a business — it is a continuation of cultural lineage, a tribute to her father, and an offering of wellbeing for community.
