🌱GATHAA FIBRE & FASHION BOTANICAL MARKET 🌱
Join us for a beautiful day celebrating culture and creativity at GATHAA Fibre, Fashion and Forage Market.
This special themed market brings together First Nations artists, makers and creatives who work with natural fibres, textiles, wearable art and botanicals. Visitors can explore stalls featuring handmade jewellery, woven pieces, slow fashion and unique items crafted with care and cultural story.
Throughout the day there will be opportunities to take part in hands-on workshops including botanical dyeing to create your own scarf, weaving and Emu feather earring making, along with a bushfood cooking demonstration using ingredients foraged from Country.
Set amongst the stunning surrounds of the nursery, the market invites you to slow down, connect with nature and learn about the many ways plants and natural materials are used through culture, art and food.
As always, GATHAA is more than a market — it’s a space to gather, share knowledge, support First Nations businesses and celebrate community.
Come along, bring the family and experience the beauty of fibre, fashion and forage on Country.
