BUSHFOOD NURSERY WALK AND TALK with JOSIE COX

Join Josie Cox from The Bush Nursery, alongside Mooloolah River Landcare Manager Suzanne, for a guided Bushfood Nursery Walk & Talk through the nursery.

Hosted at Mooloolah River Landcare Native Nursery, this relaxed and informative walk will explore a range of native bushfood plants — what they are, their cultural uses, where they grow best, how to care for them, and how to enjoy them in everyday cooking. Participants will also learn about the nutritional benefits of bushfoods and why these plants are not only good for Country, but delicious and nourishing to eat.

After the walk, visitors are encouraged to explore the market, purchase plants, grab something to eat and enjoy the space before heading into the Bushfood  Yarn and Cooking Demo with Bushfood Queen  Aunty Dale Chapman from My Dilly Bag, where Bunya will be incorporated and native ingredients brought to life through flavour-packed, everyday cooking.
