GATHAA means “to come together” — and this Christmas, we’re bringing our Next Gen back together to create, share, connect and celebrate.
Following an incredible GATHAA Next Gen Market & Youth Showcase, our young mob are back — this time for a special GATHAA Next Gen Xmas Market.
The market gives First Nations jarjums, teens and young creatives the opportunity to step forward as young entrepreneurs, artists, makers, performers and facilitators — sharing their creativity with community while gaining real experience along the way.
Expect a deadly little Christmas market filled with young First Nations-owned stalls, handmade gifts and creations, live music, creative activities and plenty of Christmas spirit.
For some of our young people, it will be another opportunity to build on what they started at Next Gen. For others, it could be their very first time setting up a stall, selling something they’ve created or sharing their talent with community.
Along the way, our Next Gen will continue to be supported by family, community, established First Nations businesses, artists and mentors, helping them build their skills and confidence.
Most importantly, we want our young people to know there is a place for their ideas, their creativity and their voices at GATHAA — not just at one event, but as they continue to grow.
Come meet our Next Gen, find something special for Christmas and put your Christmas dollars behind our deadly young creatives. 👣💛
